This painting is selected from the fourth volume of “The Combination of Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties”. There is no money for the painting, and the signature of the mounted silk is “Song Fan Kuan”. The seal of Cao Zhibai (1272-1355) and Xiang Yuanbian (1525-1590) is on the painting. In the painting, the cold forest is used as crab claw branches, the peaks are carved with hemp, and the moss is pointed with a vertical brush. It should be a work of Li Cheng’s (916-967) style after the Yuan Dynasty, which has nothing to do with Fan Kuan’s (about 950-1031 rooms) style.
