The foreground rock stands beside the stream, with pine trees hanging from the cliff, interspersed with red leaves and green apples. The staff sergeant on the bank asked and answered the fisherman. The fisherman held the pole against his knee and sat firmly in the bow to listen. The fisherman put his feet into the water, which is consistent with the written description of “The water in the waves is muddy, and can wash my feet”. The painting is either “Songs of Chu” or “Fisherman”. This painting is a masterpiece of the 13th century, which is characterized by the hardness and sharpness of rocks. This painting is selected from the fifth section of the Collection of Paintings of Song People.
