- Description:
This picture is not printed by the author. There are four boys in the painting. One is holding Zhong Kui’s puppet in the curtain for a play, one is playing drums, one is playing board, and the other is pointing. The courtyard is surrounded by flowers, bees and butterflies. Examining the facial features, hair styles and clothes of the characters in the paintings, they are all delicately dyed and have a perfect expression, which is full of the interest of Su Hanchen’s school of “fresh color and fresh body”. However, with beautiful flowers and trees, the painting method is close to the habits of the Ming Dynasty, with less natural carving and additional moss points on the lake rocks. Therefore, it can be inferred that this painting should have its origin, and it should be a masterpiece of imitating the Song Dynasty in the Ming Dynasty.
