It has a deep belly wall, a small circle of feet, and a shallow groove under the inner mouth of the utensil, which is slightly different from the “banded mouth bowl” with obvious grooves. The fetal bone is thick, covered with black glaze, and the glaze color is thick, dark and flowing. The glaze applied on the outer wall of the utensil is not as thick as the bottom. The glaze layer is thin and thick. The mouth edge presents ochre brown “brown mouth edge”. The outer bottom edge has the glaze hanging traces of accumulated glaze flowing. The glaze surface has yellow streaks of silk, similar to rabbit hair, so it is called rabbit hair tea cup in the Song Dynasty. There is a regular script “Law” carved on the outsole. The activities of tea ordering and tea fighting prevailed among the literati in the Song Dynasty. In order to set off the white tea foam of hot water tea ordering and facilitate the identification of water marks, the thick bodied and heat insulated Jian Kiln black glazed lamps became a popular category at that time, and also a tea utensil often mentioned in tea poems.
