In the autumn of the seventh year of Shaoxing (1137), Yue Fei (1103-1142) led his troops to the border of the defense area for inspection. Gao Zong (1107-1187, 1127-1162) replied to his newspaper with this imperial letter to encourage him to be loyal to the country.
