  • Description:
Zhang Sengyao is from Wu (now Suzhou, Jiangsu). Liang Tianjian Middle School (502-518) was a lackey of Wuling Kingdom. He is good at explaining people. He has painted no bones landscapes. He is an expert in painting and has been imitated by many generations. In the pavilion, Zeng Yun said, “In the Liang Tianjian, Zhang Sengyao used no ink pen on the elevator, but only green and blue. The picture is like a peak of Lanquan stone, which means no bone skill.” The rocks in this painting are filled and dyed with color, without being scratched with ink brush. The main color is red, red, green and green, and white powder is used to bake clouds and point trees. Therefore, it is felt that the color is gorgeous, the air is flying, and the whole picture exudes an ancient, thick and gloomy atmosphere. However, its style seems to be the hand of Lan Ying at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
