  • Description:
The whole body is shaped like a load leaf, and the tire is extremely thin. It is concave in the center and looks like a lotus leaf naturally curling all around. There are about six petals. The veins on the inner surface of the device are shallow and hidden under the glaze. The veins on the bottom surface of the device are prominent, which is like the back of the natural lotus leaf. The whole vessel is plain and free of lines. Glaze is applied inside and outside. The glaze color is light pink green, with distinct thickness and luster. The glaze color at the concave part of the leaf surface is dark and water blue, which is as vivid and natural as water on lotus leaves. The glaze is densely covered with beige fine lines and many small black spots. There are nail marks at the bottom of the instrument, which are as small as pinholes. The whole design is exquisite, realistic and lifelike. This piece has a wooden seat and a London exhibition label. It shows that this piece was loaned from the Forbidden City to London, England, from 1935 to 1936 to participate in The International Exhibition
