Description:
Porcelain dish with incised and moulded designs and bracketed rim, covered with a green glaze. This dish has a flat bracketed rim and the foot ring and base are glazed apart from a wide ring for firing. The centre is decorated with a moulded chrysanthemum in an incised cartouche with lobed borders, the well with sketchily incised flowers and the outside with vertical ribbing suggesting lotus petals. Inside and out it is covered with a thick green glaze.

Comments:See also BM Franks.695a Harrison-Hall 2001:This dish was acquired in Japan prior to 1876. Other dishes with similar decoration are in the Topkapi Saray Museum in Istanbul.
