Description:
A porcelain dish with incised decoration and monochrome red overglaze. This saucer dish has rounded sides and a tapering foot. Inside it is incised beneath a blue-white glaze with a phoenix flying among clouds. Outside the dish is covered with a well-worn tomato-red glaze. The base bears an underglaze blue Jiajing six-character reign mark in a double ring.
