- Description:
Cui Bai (11th century Yuan), with the word Zixi, was born in Fengyang, Anhui Province. Renzong was a school of painting, while Shenzong resigned from his post because of his broad-minded temperament. The flower feathers in the industrial painting are especially named after the withered lotus and wild goose, but they are also good at Taoist interpretation, objects, ghosts and gods. It is said that when he painted, he never started drawing. He drew long, straight and firm lines without using a ruler pen. This painting shows the withered lotus leaves and the beautiful lotus flowers. The autumn scenery is beautiful. The wagtail leaps among the flowers, the jade stands, and the two wild geese flutter in the sky, meaning thousands of miles. There is no painter’s stamp. It is said to be Cui’s work.
