Description:
Porcelain dish with underglaze blue decoration. This dish has rounded sides, an everted rim and a tapering foot. It is painted under the glaze inside and out in a very rich dark blue with a composite flower scroll consisting of chrysanthemum, lotus, camellia and peony flowers with their foliage. An underglaze blue six-character Longqing mark in a double ring marks the base.

Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:This dish essentially echoes the styles of fifteenth-century imperial porcelain but the design is much suffer and the blue typical of imperial wares of the second half of the sixteenth century.
