Description:
Longquan stoneware dish with flattened rim. The dish has thick grey-green glaze. There are foliage scrolls incised around the well, four-clawed, two-horned dragon among clouds in relief in the centre, and carved overlapping petals on the exterior.

They were made in dragon kilns, so called as they followed the undulating contours of the hillsides. Longquan celadons were exported to the Middle East and Southeast Asia in great quantities.
