Description:
A dance-cape (‘cloud collar’?) worn by a lama; akin to a ‘cloud collar’. Square in shape, with round neckline and slit (piped with cream satin silk cloth). Ground made from red (inner) and blue (outer) silk brocade, specifically chrysanthemum blossoms and foliage patterning worked in gold leaf (?) on animal gut (?) or paper (?). Scalloped edge piped with cream satin silk cloth. Lined with red tabby cloth, dirty. A strip of cream-coloured silk brocade, with brass bell attached, stitched to corners of red cloth; similarly red strips stitched to corners of blue cloth, and cream or orange and blue strips stitched to edge of collar. A few strips have cream down attached
