Zhao Zhen (1010-1063), the Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, wore a plain red robe with a bundle on his head. At first sight, he looked quite simple and sat on a high backed dragon chair. However, the gold fine grain inner garment exposed from the collar and cuffs, as well as the gorgeous chair drapes and stepping pads, can feel that luxury is just a consumable for him in life, showing the daily life belonging to the peak of power.
