Jade, white and bluish, with ochre spots on the surface and the back of the utensil. The surface of the instrument is worn and has decorative patterns but cannot be identified. Jian Xuan is an ornament inlaid on the scabbard and has the function of fixing the leather belt. It was often used as a literary play in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
