In this painting, mountains stand in the snow, smoke is curling around the mountains, and dead trees are scattered everywhere. The village houses are built on the side of the hill beside the stream, and the pavilions are located on the top of the mountain. At the riverside ferry, a man with an umbrella called the boatman on the other side. Xu Daoning’s money was added by later generations, and Jingyou had Jiaxu but no Jiashen. The whole set is empty and appropriately dyed with ink, which makes people feel a sense of bleak snow. Xu Daoning (active in the middle of the 11th century AD), a native of Hejian, Hebei. He is good at poetry and painting, and began to sell medicine in Kaifeng. He is good at depicting various people in the neighborhood. Later, you can travel to Taihua Mountain to paint landscapes.
