Kesi is a simple plain wood machine that weaves through warp and weft. It depicts the pattern on the warp surface. It deploys various colored lines according to the needs of the drawing and puts them into the shuttle respectively. It shuts back and forth between the warp lines of the pattern according to the design of the pattern, leaving zigzag gaps around, also known as “carving”.
