The inkstone is round, brown and dark in color. There is a circle of edges around the surface of the inkstone, a Huang shaped pool at one end, and the ink hall is slightly round and concave. Three short columnar feet stand on the back of the inkstone, and four lines of regular script inkstone inscriptions are stenciled between the feet. Many characters are diffuse and lax, and one seal script is used to seal: “The treasure of Confucianism”.
