Porcelain bowl with rounded sides and everted copper-bound rim. White. There is an incised cloud collar design on the exterior, and two ‘anhua’ slip dragons under the glaze on the interior. The base is glazed.

Craftsmen added an暗花 (anhua ‘secret or hidden decoration’) of raised slip, showing two five-clawed dragons chasing each other and their flaming pearls inside the cavetto. This pattern is only visible when held to the light.
