Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:Such small straight-sided bowls were first made in the fifteenth century. One with blue flowers but otherwise identical decoration is in the Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art, London. It is a particularly interesting example as it is marked with a Longqing over an original Chenghua reign mark.
