This painting uses mineral pigments “Shiqing” and “Shilv” to depict magnificent rocks, so it is classified under the name of Zhao Boju (1120-1183), a noble painter of the Song Dynasty famous for “green landscapes”. In fact, it may be paintings after the Yuan Dynasty (14th century). It is like two masters of the “Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest” sitting on the mat in transparent gauze, with frozen melons and fruits on one side, listening to the singing of orioles.
