- Image Number:>
- Function:Ritual vessels, Food utensil
- Material:mineral/metal/bronze
- Description:. The characteristics of this square tripod were particularly obvious during the Erligang period, as exemplified by the Zhangzhai tripod in Zhengzhou. However, the decoration of this utensil is high relief. The two sides of its animal face nose have bean shaped bulges, which are similar to the cultural relics unearthed in Xingan, Jiangxi Province, and are different from the style of the Central Plains. Its nose is square in shape, and there are similar claws on both sides of its animal face near the lower jaw
