Comments:Rawson 1992:The delicately painted decoration parallels that on early 18th-century overglaze enamelled porcelain. These pieces are in Chinese taste, although many pieces of painted enamel were later made in Western shapes and designs for export. Quail and millet are a pun for “sui sui ping an” 歲歲平安 (everlasting peace year after year). Zhang Rong 10-07-2012
