Li Song, a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang, whose birth and death dates are unknown, once served as an adopted son of Li Congshun in the Xuanhe Painting Academy of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty (1101-1126). He has successively served as the painting academy of the Guang, Ning, and Li Zong dynasties (1190-1264) of the Southern Song Dynasty, waiting for the imperial edict. He is good at painting figures, especially at boundary painting.
