Comments:This slab-like and thick disc with straight-cut edges has a gentle groove on one of its otherwise flat plain sides. There is a central biconical perforation. Neolithic. The surfaces of this disc are well smoothed and the outer edge is straight. Traces of a groove can be seen on one of the sides. The central hole has been drilled from both sides, and a slight ledge remains at the centre. Discs of similar texture and size have come from tomb M23 at Zhejiang Yuhang Fanshan and tomb M40 at Shanghai Qingpu Fuquanshan. See Rawson 1995, p.136, cat.no.4.6.
