Comments:Rawson 1995:Excavations have brought to light a range of jade belts from the Yuan to the late Ming. The presence of an integral loop for subsidiary straps is a feature of belts of the steppe peoples. Also rare is the deeply undercut decoration of dragons that does not appear on any of the later belts excavated to date.
