Wang Shen was born in the fourth year of Jingyou (1037) and died in an unknown year. Jin Qing, a native of Taiyuan, was the fifth grandson of Wang Quanbin, a famous general in the early Song Dynasty. He married the daughter of the Emperor Yingzong and worshipped the emperor’s son in law. He was good at poetry and painting, and also good at ci.
