When the Southern Tang Dynasty died, Juran followed Empress Li to the Song Dynasty and moved to Bianliang. The foreground of this painting is the gentle slope of the river bank. In the middle view, a small bridge connects the jungle path. The courtyard in the valley is hidden, and the foreground is surrounded by peaks. There are many fantou pebbles at the foot of the mountain ranges and forests. The mountains and rocks are bright and moist with light and shadow effects. They are similar to the Juran style in the painting history records, and belong to the Song people’s painting of Juran style.
