Jade Gouyun Pattern Lamp, from the late Warring States Period to the early Western Han Dynasty, is 12.8 cm in height, 10.2 cm in disc diameter, and 5.9 cm in foot diameter
The lamp is made of white jade with an ochre color. The center of the lamp panel is embossed with a five petal flower cluster as the wick holder. The outer wall of the panel and the upper part of the lamp column are decorated with cloud patterns, the inner wall and the lower part of the lamp column are decorated with cloud patterns, and the base is decorated with persimmon stem patterns
During the Warring States Period, a new situation emerged in which a hundred schools of thought contended, and the social environment and cultural atmosphere had greatly changed compared to previous ones. The style of jade carving works was also a new one, with novel shapes and advanced craftsmanship becoming the mainstream of creation, creating a new artistic genre in the history of jade carving.
