In the picture, a man is carrying his luggage and driving his donkey to the waterfront to call for a ferry. There are high mountains above. A spring flows from the peaks, and the thatched buildings are hidden among the trees in the valley. It is a piece of “Sitting Alone in the Stream” with a layout similar to that of Fan Kuan of the Song Dynasty collected by the court. Although it is labeled Guan Tong, it is either written in ink or imitated by people in the Ming Dynasty.
