The cover is raised and fits into the bowl mouth. The bowl has an open mouth, an arc belly, and a circular foot. Both the inside and the top of the foot have red colored “Tongzhi Year System” 4-character regular script characters
The inside of the bowl is white glaze, and the cover and outer wall of the bowl are decorated with yellow pastel butterfly patterns. The butterflies dance gracefully and have rich colors
According to historical records, in the seventh year of the Tongzhi reign (1868), the Qing Dynasty palace burned a batch of porcelain for the wedding of the Tongzhi emperor.
