This cotton waistcoat was worn by Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty when he was a child. It was worn outside the toilet robe during the Spring and Autumn Period. The style is round neck, sleeveless, with a left and right train, and a pipa flap. The waistcoat is made of dark flower crepe silk with four bells and pestle patterns, and is made of moon white pigment satin with thin cotton wadding, making it soft and comfortable to wear.
