Stiffening the mouth, long neck, sliding shoulders, bulging the belly, and looping the feet. The interior is painted with white glaze, and the exterior wall is decorated with a yellow glaze ground blue color seal script with the “Shou” character pattern. The neck and abdomen are each written for 2 and 3 weeks, with 16 characters per week. The density of the characters varies with the shape. The foot is decorated with white glaze and red colored “Tongzhi Year System” four character regular script
This stiff bucket is one of the porcelain ordered by the imperial kiln factory during the Tongzhi period to celebrate the birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is a sanitary ware for banquets in the palace
