“Kejingju” is located in the Tongdao Hall in the main hall of the backyard of Xianfu Palace, one of the six western palaces of the Inner Court. In the thirtieth year of Daoguang’s reign (1850), Emperor Xianfeng observed filial piety for Emperor Daoguang in the Tongdao Hall, and after the expiration of his term, he still often lived here, so there are many relics related to Emperor Xianfeng here. Among them, the “Ke Jing Ju” plaque in Chinese written by Emperor Xianfeng is hanging here, filled with nanmu, stone, and green. The phrase “Kejing” comes from the “Shangshu Taijia Zhong”: “Only heaven has no relatives, while Kejing has only relatives.” It means that heaven has no relatives or relationships with people, and only respect can be close. The residence name is “Kejing”, and the seal is engraved, reflecting the thought of Emperor Xianfeng to restrict respect to heaven
