[Transparent Enamel Folded Flower Pattern Beam Kettle]
Transparent Enamel Folded Flower Pattern Beam Kettle, late Qing Dynasty, with a height of 23 cm, a caliber of 5.2-4.7 cm, and a foot diameter of 6.9-6.7 cm
The pot has square rounded corners, a copper gilded high lifting beam, and a circular foot. The whole body is painted with blue transparent enamel, with convex lights on all sides. Inside, they are decorated with gold painted flowers, pomegranates, lotus seeds, melons, and butterflies, implying that the melons are long and fruitful. Blue enamel is applied inside the feet, with no pattern on the surface
At present, transparent enamel is a unique craft variety in Guangdong. During the Qianlong period, the production level was the highest and became a tribute. Although it has been inherited since then, the production level has declined, such as the body is not flat, the patterns are simple, and the gold ornaments are not bright enough. This work was made in the late Qing Dynasty, reflecting the level and style of the works of the same period
