Four petal sunflower shaped mirror, slightly square, hemispherical button. The back of the mirror is centered on the mirror button and decorated with a pair of swastika characters. The word “Swastika” is a symbol of great luck in Buddhism. The mirror of the word “Swastika” is popular in the middle and late Tang Dynasty, which is related to the people’s belief in Buddhism. There are also some “Swastika” mirrors with inscriptions such as “Mirror of Eternal Longevity”, meaning longevity and auspiciousness.
