[Yixing Kiln Zisha Danran Zhai Round Pot]
Zisha Danran Zhai Round Pot, from Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, is 8.5cm high, 4.7cm in diameter, and 5cm in foot diameter
The pot has a small mouth, a round belly, a curved flow, a circular handle, and shallow circular feet. Flat cover, ball button. The sand mud is purplish red, firm and smooth, with a fine and moist coating. On the belly side is a five-character poem inscribed by Emperor Jiaqing, which reads, “We have an appointment to try new tea. When will the flag gun be green?” At the end of the sentence, it is written in regular script, “Carved in the autumn of the fourth year of Jiaqing, Xu Zhanting.”. Under the handle, there is a square seal of “Huchi”. The seal letter “Dan Ran Zhai” is stamped on the bottom of the pot
