Yixing Kiln Purple Sand Small Round Pot, from Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, is 5.2 centimeters high, 3.4 centimeters in diameter, and 2.7 centimeters in foot diameter
The pot has a straight mouth, a drooping belly, and shallow circular feet. The ring handle and curved flow are higher than the spout. The cover is convex and decorated with jewel buttons. The seal inside the foot is printed in four characters, “Jiaqing Year System”
This pot has a small and delicate shape, with purple red sand and mud, and a fine and glossy texture. The layout and style of the novel are consistent with those of official kiln porcelain at that time, and it is a representative work of the small purple clay pot used by the imperial court.
