The smoking pot is in the shape of a pumpkin, with a total of 8 edges, and a copper plated gold chiseled flower cover with an ivory spoon. Painted on colorless transparent glass are enamel frilled flowers, one on each edge, including chrysanthemums, morning glory, lotus, osmanthus, and plum blossoms. A yellow label is kept inside the smoking bottle, with the inscription “On the first day of March in the fifth year of Jiaqing’s reign (1800), a glass snuff bottle is received.”
The yellow paper stickers retained in this smoking pot are the ink marks from the collection of items in the palace, which are extremely precious.
