The mouth of the bottle is lotus petal shaped, with a long neck, ample shoulders, and rounded feet. The carcass is white and delicate, and the whole body is covered with white glaze, with a tranquil glaze color. The outer wall is embossed with lotus leaves and flower bud decorations, and the veins are carved in extremely fine lines within the leaves, with clear decorations. The outsole is engraved with six characters and three lines of characters in seal script “made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.”
This bottle has a beautiful shape, ingenious design, and exquisite craftsmanship, demonstrating the superb porcelain making skills of the Qianlong period.
