Wooden Wrapping, Jinbian, Qianlong Imperial System, Wearing Yang Shuo Screen

[Wooden Wrapping, Jinbian, Qianlong, Emperor Qianlong, Wearing Yang Saying Screen]

Qianlong, Qing Dynasty, with a height of 282 centimeters and a width of 54 centimeters for each fan
In the center of the screen is the “Chuanyang Shuo” written by Emperor Qianlong. It is written in paper, ink, and running script, with a total of 5308 characters, each mounted on twelve screens. At the end of the text, the two characters “Imperial Brush” were stamped with “Qian” and “Long”. The lower skirt of the screen is painted in red, and the decorative line is engraved with a golden double dragon holding longevity pattern
This screen was specially made for the imperial book “Chuanyang Shuo” in the 17th year of Qianlong (1752). When Emperor Qianlong read “The Warring States Strategy”, he doubted the idea of “piercing the poplar with a hundred steps”. He called on famous archers to experiment, but none of them succeeded. He wrote an article in “The Theory of Piercing the Yang” to express his own opinion, believing that “piercing the poplar with a hundred steps” is not reasonable, not shooting a leaf, but rather shooting a poplar tree. If you refer specifically to the leaves of a poplar, it is not a designated leaf, but rather a leaf of a tree, thereby affirming that reading should distinguish between true and false, and be sensible. The lines are natural and smooth, vigorous and powerful, and they are completed in one fell swoop
