This figure is mainly made of needle sets, oblique winding needles, wheel needles, hair applying needles, and rolling needles. Large areas such as hillsides, people’s clothing, and trees use needle sets. This basic embroidery needle method makes the object image more three-dimensional. The grass and moss spots in the picture are rendered with a pen. The colors are mainly dark blue, blue, moon white, white, and grass green. This picture should be composed of a poem inscribed by Emperor Qianlong, written by Xie Yong, and then embroidered by a craftsman.
