The Temple of King Wenxuan refers to the Confucius Temple. In the 27th year of the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty, Confucius was posthumously named King Wenxuan to show respect. During the reign of Xiantong, due to the lack of harvest, the Temple of Wenxuan King in Qufu was old and out of repair. Kong Wenyu, the 39th grandson of Confucius, had the intention to restore his old view and pay his own salary to repair it. After the event, Jia Fang wrote an article recording his experience and Kong Wenyu’s praise; From the beginning to the end, the stone carving spread. The original stone is now in the Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province. The inscriptions and inscriptions are in regular script. The strokes are thin and vigorous. It has the clear style of Liu Gongquan’s calligraphy, which can give a glimpse of the trend of regular script in the late Tang Dynasty.
