[Red sandalwood carved lotus pattern long table]
Qing Qianlong, height 86 cm, length 192 cm, width 44.5 cm
The long table is made of red sandalwood, with a flat angle upright style and a four corner zongzi angle tenon structure. The side edges and four legs of the table top are embossed with the characters “Swastika”, “Shou”, and bat patterns. A carved flower tooth is installed between the four legs, with a crutch pattern as the skeleton, and intertwined lotus flowers are interspersed in the middle. Although the decorative techniques are extremely cumbersome, the carving techniques are superb, with fine grinding and a high artistic level
