The cabinet is made of red sandalwood wood. The frame is decorated with a mixed face single side line and a mixed face double side line. The upper Duobao grid has different sizes for each grid, and there are ring-shaped teeth inside, carved with Qiu patterns, cloud patterns, Kui dragon patterns, Western Tibetan lotus patterns, and echo patterns. The lower part of the door is divided into two doors, with a embossed pattern of western lotus in the center, with movable studs, copper facing leaves, and hinges. The lower teeth are made into a hollow belly shape, and the upper part is decorated with a circular pattern
This cabinet is relatively small in size, and it was customary in the Qing Dynasty to display small cabinets on the kang in the sleeping palace or on both sides of the bed, known as “kang cabinets.”.
