Respecting and curling the mouth, short neck, rolling shoulders, sagging and plump abdomen, and curling the feet outward. The statue is decorated with turquoise green glaze. The outer wall is covered with yellow glaze and painted with pastel to depict the lotus pattern. The circle foot is painted with turquoise green glaze inside, and the outer bottom is decorated with a blue and white seal script “made in the Qianlong year of the Qing Dynasty” in six characters and three lines
This statue is large in shape and magnificent in color, demonstrating the typical extravagance and elegance of Qianlong porcelain. The hooked lotus pattern on its abdomen is prone, facing back, gathering and dispersing, and elegant, with various postures. The lotus pattern originated in the West and was widely used in Buddhist culture. Later, it gradually evolved into an auspicious pattern symbolizing happiness, which was one of the typical patterns on porcelain in the Qianlong Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty.
