Bottle skimming, short neck, slip shoulders, tubular belly, and circular feet. Due to its shape like a lantern, it is called a “lantern bottle”. The inner wall of the bottle is painted with turquoise green glaze, and the outer wall is decorated with floral patterns such as lotus, peony, and rose. The outer sole is painted with turquoise green glaze, and is inscribed with a blue and white seal character in three lines and six characters, “Made in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.”
The shape of the lantern bottle originated in the early Ming Dynasty and became quite popular after the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
