[Five Ancient Poetry Axles of Kesi and Liuse]

Five Ancient Poetry Axles of Kesi and Liuse, Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty, with a length of 77 centimeters and a width of 28 centimeters. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The five character ancient poem “Liu Se” is a poem written by the Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty during the spring of the fifteenth year of Qianlong’s reign (1750), during which he sang about the spring and expressed his emotions. The poem says: “The imperial garden is near the immortal’s house, and the yellow color is still shallow.”
Zhuolu’s lines are full of banners, and its soft green stripes stretch through the horizon
The rippling ground reflects the green mou, and the gentle wind welcomes the jade chariot
To the south, the breeze is flowing, and to the east, it is soft
Brushed without dust, covered with new moss
The scenery is beautiful and the emotions are expressed in poetry
There are many Yongchun poems in the tens of thousands of imperial poems written by Emperor Qianlong during his lifetime, but it is rare to use the imperial pen as a manuscript and then weave it into a scroll
This scroll of poetry is mainly woven using common techniques such as flat tapestry and overlapping tapestry. It is dexterous and exquisite in its movement, and the tapestry is smooth and delicate, accurately conveying the charm of the running script of the Hongli Dynasty. The color scheme uses light pink as the ground and dark blue as the characters. It is elegant and unique, and seems to reveal a fusion of spring. It can be called a masterpiece combining calligraphy and tapestry.
