During his lifetime, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty wrote more than 40000 poems, which can be compared to “All Tang Poems” in terms of quantity. Each opening of the album is embossed with blue silk tapestry, and the tapestry is constructed with thin edges. Dark blue characters are engraved in beige. The technique only uses flat and overlapping tapestry, but the weaving is exquisite, the tapestry is thin, and the vertical and horizontal strokes are abrupt, without losing the charm of the running script written by Emperor Qianlong. At the end of the reign, there are three seals on the inscription: “Tiren”, “Rhetoric Establishment”, and “Qingxin Expressing Wonderful Reason”.
