[Qingyu Visiting Youtu Mountain with Qin]

Qingyu Visiting Youtu Mountain with Qin was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a total height of 24.3 centimeters and a width of 20 centimeters
Shanzi sapphire. The front side is embossed with a small pavilion built against a huge rock, in which an elderly person sits on a railing. Outside the pavilion, the trees cover the eaves, and the water flows rapidly. On the winding stone step mountain road, an old man was walking with a stick, followed by a boy with a zither, pedaling the steps towards the pavilion, gradually approaching. On the back, there are only three pine trees carved, and a large blank space is inscribed with a poem made by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, inscribed with the title “The Picture of Visiting Friends with the Qin”. The poem reads, “Cheap discounts and peaceful principles are impressive, and high mountains and flowing water feel diverse. When we meet at the bottom, we use the banjing to discuss, and then we bounce into the depths of the pine wind.” The mountain is equipped with an oval tripod wooden seat
Shanzi was a common display item in the study of the Qing Dynasty, which could be used to hold pens. The mountains in the palace are more delicate, often using the direction of the natural mountains as a pen holder. This work represents a traditional content in Chinese culture. Using the content of visiting friends with a piano as a pattern has a long history. It is said that during the Spring and Autumn Period, Bo Ya took Zhong Ziqi as his friend and wrote “High Mountains and Flowing Water”, which means that Zhong Ziqi realized it and is known as a bosom friend in the world. Therefore, the theme of Bo Ya’s visit to friends with a zither child has been handed down from generation to generation, and has become an eternal theme in handicrafts such as calligraphy and painting, ceramics, lacquerware, and jade.
